Metered billing (per-call)
Unused prepaid credits are refundable, pro-rated. If you loaded $500 of wallet credit and consumed $180, you get $320 back to the original payment method. Fees charged by the payment rail (Stripe ~2.9% + 30c) are non-recoverable; we'll note them on the refund.
Calls that reached the upstream and returned any status are consumed — we can't unbill them.
Calls that failed inside MeterCall before reaching upstream are auto-credited within 24h.
Calls that hit rate-limit ceilings you set are not charged.
Subscriptions ($149 / $349 / $599)
7-day, no-questions-asked. Sign up, try it, hate it — full refund if you ask within 7 days of first charge.
After 7 days, subscriptions are pro-rated on cancellation. If you cancel mid-month, we refund the unused days to the original payment method. Bundled-call allowances already consumed are not refundable.
Crypto payments
On-chain transactions are usually non-reversible. We review crypto refunds case-by-case:
If we made a billing error, we refund to the same wallet address (or a USDC address of your choice).
If you changed your mind, we can convert unused credit to a refund in USDC minus network fees, within 30 days.
If the funds originated from a sanctioned address or failed KYC screening, no refund — funds are held pending review.
Annual Enterprise contracts
Per the contract. Typically no mid-term refund, but unused committed-use overage credits roll over into a renewal or expire per MSA terms.
How to request a refund
Self-serve: from your billing dashboard, click Request refund on the invoice.
API:POST /api/refund/request with { email, invoice_id, reason } — you'll get a ticket ID.
