HOW THE POOL WORKS
$10 per signup. Capped at $100,000 at 10,000 signups.
Proportional downside, hard upside. Every signup adds $10 to the pool. If 5,000 people sign up, the pool is $50,000. If 10,000+ sign up, it locks at $100,000 — top 1,000 apps split the pool on a tiered power-law, paid over 3 years. Community-voted: every entry is rated by other builders on utility, creativity, and shareability.

Every builder who enters the contest can vote on every other entry across three dimensions. Scores are summed. Highest total wins. Votes are public, one vote per entry per builder, your own entry excluded. No human tiebreaker. No favorites. No brigading — self-votes and sock-puppet accounts are auto-dropped.

Who can enter
Anyone 18+. Solo builders, small teams (≤3 people), freelancers, agencies. International entries welcome. Residents of US-embargoed / sanctioned countries excluded. Free to enter — no purchase necessary, no entry fee.
When
Build between now and May 11, 2026. Submissions close at 11:59pm ET on May 11, 2026. Judging takes 48–72 hours. Winners announced May 14, 2026 on X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Pool math (binding)
- Formula:
pool = min(signups × $10, $100,000) - Floor: below 10,000 signups, pool scales proportionally (5,000 signups = $50,000).
- Cap: at 10,000+ signups, pool locks at $100,000 — no higher, ever, regardless of how many more signups come in.
- Split: pool divides across the top 1,000 ranked entries (rank 1 = highest).
- Payout: MeterCall meter credits vesting over 3 years. Credits cash out to Wise / Payoneer / Razorpay per the winner's region, subject to processor fees.
What to build
Anything. A full module, a workflow, a client tool, a side-project, a SaaS replacement, an internal dashboard — any of it is fair game. The only requirement: it uses MeterCall to wire the APIs or AI calls. If you're unsure whether your idea counts, it counts. Build it.
Submission format (all three required)
- Screen recording · 2–5 min. Show the module actually working. Loom, YouTube unlisted, or a direct MP4 link.
- Writeup · max 500 words. What it does, which MeterCall adapters or models it uses, who it's for.
- Live URL or demo video. People have to be able to click something.

Judging
Builders community-vote every submission. The top 1,000 entries split the pool. Three weights:
- Utility — does it solve a real problem someone would pay for?
- Creativity — did you do something we wouldn't have thought of?
- Shareability — would you tweet this to a friend?
IP & licensing
You keep 100% ownership of your work. You grant MeterCall a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display and demo your submission for marketing purposes, in perpetuity. Your code stays yours. Your clients stay yours.
Disqualifiers
- Submitting work that existed before the contest window
- Using someone else's code without credit + permission
- Bots, scraped content, or AI-generated spam with no human build
- Multiple signup accounts from the same person (all disqualified)
- Apps that exist only to game submission metrics with no actual use case
Tax
US winners receiving >$600/yr in credit-to-cash conversions get a 1099. International winners complete a W-8BEN. Winners are responsible for their own tax filings in their jurisdiction.

Real answers. No fluff.
What if fewer than 10,000 people sign up?
The pool shrinks proportionally. 5,000 signups = $50,000 pool. 1,000 signups = $10,000 pool. The top 1,000 entries still share whatever pool is built up. Every signup adds exactly $10.
What if way more than 10,000 sign up?
Pool locks at $100,000 — that is the hard cap. At 100,000 signups the pool is still $100,000. At 1,000,000 signups the pool is still $100,000. The cap exists so we can actually pay it out.
Is there an entry fee?
No. Free to enter. No purchase necessary. You don't need to pay for MeterCall usage during the contest — free tier covers the build + submission flow.
Can I enter if I'm not in the US?
Yes. Payouts are MeterCall meter credits cashable to Wise / Payoneer / Razorpay based on your region. Tax docs (W-9 / W-8BEN) required for payout compliance. Residents of US-embargoed countries are excluded.
Can I submit something I already built?
Only the build has to happen during the contest window. If you had an idea sitting in Figma, bring it. If you had working code before now, no — build something new on top of MeterCall. We'll ask for git history for the top 10.
Can I submit as a team?
Up to 3 people. If you win, you split the prize however you agreed among yourselves — we wire it to one name. Include all team members in the writeup.
What counts as "using MeterCall"?
Your module has to actually route through MeterCall's AI layer or adapter gateway to do its job. A purely static site that mentions MeterCall doesn't count. A dashboard that pulls from Shopify via MeterCall's adapter — counts. A workflow that has our AI routing between 25 model providers — counts.
Who owns the code?
You. 100%. We get a non-exclusive license to feature your submission in our marketing. We don't touch your code, your users, or your revenue.
How many entries will you judge?
All of them. Builders community-vote every submission across utility, creativity, and shareability. The top 1,000 split the prize pool. Everyone gets a scored response — even if it's short.
What if my entry is bad?
That's fine. You still learned MeterCall. You still have the screen recording. You still have a "Certified MeterCall Builder" claim if you end up selling integration work to clients. Zero downside to swinging.
