Plain English

Pool math (binding)

Formula: pool = min(signups × $10, $100,000) USD-equivalent value, disbursed in MeterCall meter credits.

SignupsPool
1,000$10,000
5,000$50,000
10,000$100,000 (CAP)
100,000$100,000
1,000,000$100,000

Headline: Every signup adds $10. Capped at $100,000 after 10K.

Prize distribution across the top 1,000 (binding)

Distribution uses a fixed power-law tier table. Table sums to $100,000 at the cap. Below the cap (pool < $100K) every tier payout scales linearly with pool / $100,000. Table below is binding; MeterCall may update only with 48-hour notice per §11.

RankPer-winner payout (at $100K cap)Tier total
#1$25,000$25,000
#2$15,000$15,000
#3$10,000$10,000
#4–10 (7 winners)$2,500 each$17,500
#11–50 (40 winners)$300 each$12,000
#51–200 (150 winners)$50 each$7,500
#201–1,000 (800 winners)$16.25 each$13,000
Total · 1,000 winners$100,000

Scaling below cap: at any pool size P where P < $100,000, each per-winner payout equals the table value multiplied by P / $100,000. Example: at 5,000 signups the pool is $50,000, so #1 = $12,500, #2 = $7,500, #3 = $5,000, #4–10 = $1,250 each, and so on.

DQ backfill: if any entry in the top 1,000 is disqualified during integrity review, its slot is backfilled in strict rank order from rank 1,001 and below. The tier each backfilled entry lands in is the tier of the vacated slot (not the tier the entry would have been in at its original rank).

Worked example — per-winner monthly cash flow at the $100K cap, 36 monthly tranches (3 years):

RankTotal payoutPer month (36 mo)
#1$25,000$694.44
#2$15,000$416.67
#3$10,000$277.78
#4–10 (each)$2,500$69.44
#11–50 (each)$300$8.33
#51–200 (each)$50$1.39
#201–1,000 (each)$16.25$0.45
Total monthly outlay at cap$100,000 over 36 months$2,777.78/month

First monthly tranche disburses on or before 2026-06-13 (30 days after the 2026-05-14 winner announcement).

Judging

The MeterCall contest is decided by community vote. One vote per verified account, across all entries — not per-entry. The top 1,000 entries by vote count proceed to organizer integrity review; survivors split the pool per the binding power-law tier table.

MeterCall reserves final discretion on disqualification for rule violations. Appeals: a disqualified entrant may appeal within 48 hours of the announcement by emailing contest@metercall.ai with subject “DQ APPEAL — [entry slug]”. Appeal decisions are made by the same four-person panel within 72 hours and are final.
