Yes. As long as your account is in good standing and the referred user keeps paying MeterCall, you get 50% of the profit on their spend. Profit = user's spend minus direct variable costs only (provider API + infra + Stripe fees). No expiry, no cap, no clawback (except fraud). If we ever change terms, existing referrals are grandfathered at the original definition with 90 days written notice.
Only direct variable costs: Anthropic / LLM-provider API bills, infrastructure passthrough, and payment processor fees (Stripe, etc.). Roughly $2.80 on a $10/mo user today. We do NOT deduct salaries, engineering, R&D, marketing, ads, rent, legal, or any other overhead. The formula is published, binding, and audited — we publish quarterly averages of each component. No — not retroactively. Any change to the formula requires 90 days' written notice to every active affiliate. Existing referrals are grandfathered at the original definition forever — only brand-new signups after the change date are subject to the new formula. Your current referral book is locked at 50% of profit as defined today.
Anyone who clicks your ?ref=you link, loads any MeterCall page, then signs up within 90 days. Last-touch attribution: if they visit from multiple affiliate links, the most recent one wins.
Yes. Affiliates and contest entrants are independent programs. Many of our top affiliates are also building contest modules. Entry: metercall.ai/contest.
Self-referrals, fake emails, click-fraud rings, and shared accounts trigger automatic review. Confirmed fraud = immediate termination and forfeit of balance. We use IP fingerprinting, email verification on both sides, and VPN/datacenter ASN flagging. See the full terms.
No. Freelancers, indie devs, Discord mods, newsletter writers, Twitter microinfluencers — all welcome. Auto-approve on v1; we moderate post-signup at the referral level.
