MeterCall
About

Built by one founder.
Rebuilt by AI.

MeterCall is a pay-per-call marketplace for 5,000+ SaaS replacements. Call what you need, pay for what you use. No seats, no subscriptions, no contracts.

The guy behind it

Pat Linden — founder, builder, sole operator. Built and sold a tree service business in Boca Raton (Monster Tree Service #4588) for $60M. Used the proceeds to bet that one person with AI could build what teams of 50 used to.

MeterCall is that bet made tangible: I describe what should exist, AI writes it, real users meter it. If the idea lands, builders keep 70% of every dollar their module earns. If it doesn't, the receipts are public — check /honesty.

Why this exists

Every SaaS sells you a locked room. You rent it forever, you can't fork it, and when they raise prices the room is the same. MeterCall is the opposite: every module is source-readable, forkable, and priced per call. If a builder makes a better version, they earn the revenue. If you build on top, you own your version.

Bloomberg Terminal at $24,000/year becomes Linden Terminal at $400/year on MeterCall. HubSpot at $890/month becomes a forkable module. Salesforce at $3,800/month becomes a weekend project. That's the bet.

The stack, honestly

Static site on Cloudflare Pages. Backend on Fly.io (single region today, multi-region post-launch). LLM routing via a 16-provider race across Groq, Cerebras, DeepInfra, Together, Fireworks, and others — zero MeterCall-funded Anthropic calls in product runtime. Payments through Stripe. Credits ledger in Supabase. That's it. No blockchain in the core loop (an on-chain attestation layer exists for receipts, it's optional and developer-facing).

Who audits

Nobody yet. SOC 2 Type I targeted Q3 2026. Until then: every module is source-readable, every receipt is queryable, every bug report in /honesty is posted whether it makes us look good or not. If you need audited infrastructure today, MeterCall is not ready for you. If you're willing to try something new and give brutally honest feedback, the Feedback button is how you reach the founder directly.
